The girls in the Intermediate Department have hardly had a minute to catch a breath with all the learning and co-curricular activities that they have been involved in this term. Their interest and enthusiasm are reflected in the articles that they have written for this newsletter. The many highlights include the cross country, the National Young Leaders’ Day, the Woodford Social and the Social Studies’ Rainforest unit.
An action packed Term 3 is in store with plenty of exciting events for the girls to be involved in. The girls are looking forward to attending the Hereworth Formal, participating in The Kids Sing and hosting the Science Road Show. We have an interesting selection of topics lined up for Term 3, including the water cycle in science, early Maori innovators in social science, and myths and legends in English.
Thank you for your ongoing support, encouragement and involvement in your daughter’s learning experiences at Woodford House. We wish you and your family a relaxing and enjoyable break and look forward to seeing everyone back in Term 3.
