The EIT Trades Academy prize giving is always a privilege to attend. The pride of the students and their whānau in their achievements is clearly obvious. This year we had three Woodford House students attending Trades Academy once a week at EIT in Taradale. The courses offer a fantastic learning opportunity for our students where they gain valuable skills in their trade of choice, great self-management experience and the chance to interact with a diverse range of people.
Congratulations to Emily Harper and Stella Hansen for graduating from the Level 2 Hair and Beauty course. The course involved an introduction to salon and make-up skills which they put into practice during a fashion runway show and an avant-garde fashion show. The girls did incredibly well and have developed some very useful techniques.
Well done also to Lily Carson who completed the Level 2 Health and Fitness course. This involved learning about general exercise and fitness equipment which is invaluable for individual training purposes or professional personal training.
The EIT Trades Academy offers a variety of great options for our students. For any queries regarding future enrolments please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
