In the holidays, three TeenAg students from Woodford House – Anna Meban, Briana Lyons, and Katie McNeill were fortunate enough to be selected for the Raising the Standards camp in Feilding.
This is a prestigious programme developed to motivate and enhance the skills of emerging leaders within TeenAg clubs. Over the three days students participated in workshops that covered:
- Dealing with conflict
- Making meetings work
- Setting goals
- Working as a team
- Communication and listening
- Writing a CV and interview skills
We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in Feilding and are excited to use the skills we learnt within our club. We are very grateful to Young Farmers, Feilding High School and DairyNZ for sponsoring this opportunity.
