Head of Science

Woodford House, a state-integrated boarding and day school for girls, is seeking a highly motivated, future-focused leader who is passionate about science education, to lead our science department.

The person we seek must be innovative, forward-thinking, have strong curriculum knowledge, and be committed to leading a team of enthusiastic and dedicated teachers.

Ideally, the successful applicant will have strengths in teaching chemistry to scholarship level.

This is a full-time, permanent position starting Term 1, 2019. 2MU, 1MMA.

Global Education Coordinator

Woodford House is seeking a Global Education Coordinator to assist the Director of Global Education in providing student support to their international students, starting mid-January, 2019.

Hours

30 hours per week between 8.30am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, throughout the school term. School holiday time is variable depending on work required and to be agreed by both parties.

Supporting responsibilities include:

  • Enrolment and Orientation
  • Curriculum and Learning Needs
  • Pastoral Care
  • Coordinating homestay accommodation for holidays and exeats
  • Legislation:  Code of Practice and Immigration/Student Visas
