Year 13 Study Focus

By | August 24, 2015

The Year 13s are balancing school responsibilities, leisure and study at this time of year. Add to this the process of decision-making around University Hall applications and courses and it makes for a bucketful of stress. It can be easy for them to lose their way at this stage of the year. The juniors continue to need their guidance and benchmark examinations are just around the corner.

We are supporting the girls where possible with University issues. Thanks to those parents who are taking the girls to University Open Days and for sending those leave requests in. The girls are informing themselves well and we look forward to hearing of their successes in applications and scholarships.

If you have any questions about the transition to further study please contact myself jane.perry@woodford.school.nz, Mrs Knight – the Careers Advisor pam.knight@woodford.school.nz, or Mrs Bentley catherine.bentley@woodford.school.nz.
